    Conventionally-fueled vehicles top up with fuel while the driver is out and about, or when they are being “driven”. Since fuel can be quickly pumped into the vehicle’s tank, a stop of 3-8 minutes is a small inconvenience.

    EVs are best charged while the vehicle is parked. Low-power electricity is available virtually everywhere and with most vehicles parked for the vast majority of the day the typical driver will almost always set out with a fully-charged battery.

    Current American thinking and policies are favoring a gas-station-like approach to EV charging. This approach decreases EV ownership convenience, increases electricity costs, and places more demands on our electrical infrastructure.

The Coul St. Post is a fully-networked EVSE built with industry-standard components and designed to meet US safety certifications. The Post is designed to blend into its environment, is fully weather-sealed, and has a metal structure for strength and durability.

The Coul St. Connected Cord is based on the US industry standard for EV charging (SAE J3400) and is compatible with all US-market EVs. The Connected Cord has built-in theft prevention.

Monitor and control your charge session from the Coul St. app. View charging history and payments to other networked Coul St. owners and search for available chargers. Charger owners can directly manage their charger, billing, and usage statistics from the app.
